Rugged and smart. That applies just as much to the eSPRESSO CC XT-EDITION EQ as the workhorse 12-speed Shimano drivetrain that help gives the bike its name. Add in the powerful Shimano EP8 drive unit with 85Nm and a long-lasting 630 Wh battery built into our stiff, low step-through frame and you've got a machine that can cope with the urban sprawl just as well as any outdoor adventure. It's fully kitted out with mudguards, rack, lights, lock and kickstand as standard too.
The eSPRESSO CC range is the rugged sibling of the regular eSPRESSO CITY, with wider and grippier high-volume tyres on 650b wheels. While it's happy working hard in the urban jungle thanks to standard-fit mudguards, lights, lock, rack and kickstand, it's also capable of taking trips along forest trails and gravel tracks for fun. Smooth and comfortable progress is assured with suspension forks on all models, while powerful hydraulic disc brakes allow effortless and controlled stopping. All have a high system weight of 150 kg which means plenty of capacity for rider and luggage.
